Can’t remember if I came here by sea or by land
Something that I don’t know and can’t understand has taken hold of the back of my neck and is pulling me down
And it borrows time to tell me all that is is self-contained
Explains away minutiae that don’t need to be explained
Then sends me up again, before it spins me twice around
Can you hear the walls? They emit the strangest sounds
Objects that I’ve placed before have been moved all around
I gotta get to work and I’ve got to get paid
I can’t be bothered if it’s real or man-made
Can I get directions to the local graveyard twist?
I’ve been itching up and down that there was something that I missed
I don’t have time for small talk, so please just tell me where to go
I never took a proper class on how to raise the dead, and tried to look into the future for some expertise instead
Doesn’t matter now — I’ll find it in the hex below
Ask me where I’ll be when this city gets left behind
Spirits running down the clock and I’m running outta time
Got to get my game on; the road has taken a sharp right turn
Ain’t no one to teach me all that I can never learn
